Once you have figured out the Police Division, the Courthouse and the Courtroom, you need to discover when the bail hearing is scheduled for. The Police are required to bring the accused before a Justice of the Peace within 24 hours of arrest. Retaining a lawyer at this point is usually good practice. A lawyer will be able to contact police and find out what the charges are, where the accused is going and when.
